The physics component of the program is fulfilled by an in-person (1:1) instruction by a professor of physics of medical imaging from a local university. We are located in a multi-specialty hospital featuring two surgeons, two internists, a dermatologist, a criticalist, and a robust emergency department. We provide services to veterinarians across a large network of referral partners in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Canada. Our imaging equipment includes one Cannon digital radiograph suite with Asteris Keystone PACS and one IDEXX DR suite, a Toshiba Aquilion 16 slice CT, and three ultrasound units (Two Samsung RS85 Prestige, Toshiba Aplio 500). IEVI is a veterinary diagnostic imaging practice specializing in ultrasound, echocardiography, CT, digital radiography, and radiographic interpretation. This program includes 30 months of clinical training with 6 months for scholarly activity to include out rotations for large animal imaging, MRI and offsite courses in nuclear medicine as well as study time for board preparation, mock exams and vacation. We currently have first and second year residents with plans to accept a new resident each year.
